How I contributed my user experience skills

Although I wasn't designing UI elements or creating user flows for a new project on a day to day basis, my experience with UX principles still came in handy quite a bit.

Listen to feedback and improve

A bad yelp review, sure, not my favorite thing to see at the end of the day, but one of the most useful tools for improving our customer experience.

I checked reviews. Every. Single. Day. Analyzing feedback from all platforms, digital or in person, was a daily task for improving business operations and managing customer service flow to give our guests the best experince we can.

Anticipate your customer's needs.

Now I don't go assuming things, but after many similar customer interactions you can begin to see a pattern of behavior. To make our guest's experince the best it can be I can predict that they will likely want some specific add ons if they order a certain item. Life can be hard so making any interaction we have with our customers pleasant and easy is a top priority.

Personalized experience

Its all in the details and the small things add up. A great experince is expected, but adding something extra can make it exeptional. Whether it be some latte art, remembering a regular customers name or order, or some friendly conversation with our paterions its the little extras we do that turn our new customers into regulars.

Daily UI

A challenge to create a new design (almost) everyday
